How do I use the new ShopNPay Visa Debit Card?

Simply sign on the merchant sales slips when you purchase at any Visa accepting merchants or key-in your PIN after the cashier swipes your card if transaction is made through Bancnet POS, and the purchase amount will automatically be withdrawn from your Sterling Bank account. At an ATM, use the ShopNPay Visa Debit Card just as you would an ATM card.

What happens if my ShopNPay Visa Debit Card is lost or stolen?
If your card is lost or stolen, please contact our ShopNPay cardholder support at (632) 721-6000. You should immediately report to us that you have lost your card or that it has been stolen.

What if my card gets captured at an ATM machine abroad?
Captured Card Policy for internationally issued Debit and Credit Card is to cut/destroy the card and it should no longer be returned to the issuing bank. Hence, if your ShopNPay Visa Debit card gets captured abroad, replacement card should be requested immediately.


What is the difference between my ShopNPay Visa Debit Card
and my credit card?

Your ShopNPay Visa Debit Card and a credit card work exactly the same as each other in terms of payment acceptance. The difference is that your ShopNPay Visa Debit Card accesses your Sterling Bank savings or current account while your credit card accesses your credit limit.


Is there a transaction charge each time I use my
ShopNPay Visa Debit Card?

There are no transaction fees for purchases made at any Visa and BancNet-accredited merchants. However, a minimum charge will be deducted from your card every time you withdraw in any BancNet, Megalink and Expressnet ATM terminals or Visa member bank.
